MAHINDRA CL 550 MDI : LONG TERM USER OPINION; 2 years ago my father bought a Mahindra jeep for our dairy farm purpose. It was a 2002 model Mahindra CL 550 MDI. The Mahindra Jeep comes with a 2523 cc diesel, 4 stroke, 4 cylinder, inline engine and it has maximum 58 HP@ 3200 RPM. It's fuel tank capacity is 45 litre's with electrical float unit. The Mahindra CL 550 MDI was the top model in the Mahindra jeep lineup. The jeep we had was a 2x2 but it was more than enough. The tyre profile of the jeep was 235/75 R15 and it will easily tackle through rock and mud. We have done many offroad with this beast. It is almost stock engine inside and no offroad tyres or accessories were installed. Only thing we did to the beast was modifying the exterior a little bit to look more aggressive and appealing.
